Regenerative Injections
Regenerative injections are a natural and effective* solution for acute and chronic joint pain. Without the use of steroids or surgery, these injections are designed to support the body’s natural ability to heal through stimulating repair or rebuilding of damaged tissue. There are a variety of ways to stimulate healing such as Prolotherapy, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), Growth Factors, or Extracellular Vesicles. The doctors at Synergy are trained to not perform these types of injections unless the patient is ready to heal. Unlike other clinics, we will not perform a high-dollar procedure if the person has the following examples: recent steroid injection (within 6 weeks), has not quit smoking, will not stop consuming alcohol, or is a diabetic with consistent A1c higher than 6.5. Quality over money!
*Due to high variability and personal responsibility, Synergy will not guarantee outcomes for any procedure.

Regenerative medicine is an extensive field that can be confusing and/or misleading as there are clinics who offer non-FDA approved / potentially dangerous procedures with a large price tag. It is VERY important to seek several consultations and ask many questions. If a clinic does not offer free consultations, it is advisable to move onto the next clinic. At Synergy, we have built our clinic on integrity and Dr. Werner is transparent in her knowledge base, truthful in her evaluations and seeks to provide the best care for each individual, even if it is not within Synergy.

Yes, at Synergy, we prioritize patient safety and strive for the best outcomes possible. There are times when healing won’t be optimal simply because the body is not ready. For example, the inflammation from diabetes / metabolic disorders. At Synergy, we educate our patients on the importance of correcting underlying issues before we attempt a regenerative procedure.
